The Ministry Appeal

Our Mission

As Catholics, we are united in our faith, the sacraments and the good works of the Church. As a Diocese, we are also united in the Healing, Hope and Joy in Jesus. The Ministries Appeal provides us an opportunity to act together, as one body, in support of the critical services and ministries of the Church that are larger than any one parish. Meaningful support is provided to: Education & Family; Evangelization & Outreach; and Vocation & Clergy Support.
How it Works
- The Ministries Appeal focuses on the shared ministries of the Diocese of Duluth that bring our mission and vision to life. Through Education & Family, Evangization & Outreach, and Vocation & Clergy Support, these ministries embody the Holy Spirit in our communites, bring people closer to Jesus Christ for healing, hope, and joy. Ultimately, the appeal aims for all to journey through Jesus to heaven and the Kingdom of God.
  
  The Ministries Appeal is conducted on the calendar year beginning on January 1st and ending on December 31st each year. Early in the year an Invitation to Give will be sent to each registered household in the Diocese of Duluth. This will be followed up by parish communications, playing of the Bishop's video and conducting an in-pew ask to invite those who are guests or
  un-registered parishioners to join in this important collective appeal.
